A hot week ahead

The forecast from the NBC 5 Weather Experts

The heat dome that has been responsible for our hot summer is once again parked over our area. It will bring a hot week of weather to North Texas with triple digit heat likely each day. Record heat is likely later in the week with highs of 105 or higher on Friday.

The heat dome is expected to weaken and shift west this weekend allowing for the heat to back off. There is also a low chance of weekend showers and storms.
